About Anna
I have been playing TTRPGs since 2012 and almost immediately started learning to DM with an extremely supportive group. I've always loved creating fantasy and sci-fi worlds and telling stories so DMing seemed like a great way to be able to express that side of me. Since then, I've run one shots, 'fun shots' (2-4 session games) and campaigns that have lasted several years. Over the years I've been an official GM for Magpie Games at Gencon, running Avatar and Root RPG and I have run D&D games for Kit Bus (Artist for Critical Role Campain 1). While living in Romania I was a community DM for Bucharest Geekhub and I DMed the short-lived Spirit on Tap podcast, featured on the Romanian Dicesylvania live play show. I will soon be working with Australian live play group Roll for Dragons to DM some games for them. I love to explore with different types of game sessions and now specialise in D&D5e, Candela Obscura and Avatar the Last Airbender RPG. I'm always looking to add more to my repertoire with Coriolis and Fallout being the next on my list.

How Anna runs games
I love to try and integrate a few different play styles in my games depending on the players and style of game. I love RPG and stuffing my games full of Lore or puzzles when I can. For shorter games I try to emphasise fun and freedom but for longer games and campaigns I try and play more tactically as a DM, trying to give players a more emotional rollercoaster ride and hiding clues for them to find, rewarding them with adventures and high stakes villains. One of the things I love to do is to integrate my travel experiences into my games. I grew up travelling all over the world, having now lived in 7 totally different countries across 4 continents. I love weaving in experiences and local lore from these countries into games to try and add an extra bit of realism. I try to tailor my games to the players and what they want, as long as all of us are having fun and being respectful

I once ran a session...
that lasted 16 hours (1 hour food break) that was totally improved because the players went a totally different direction to the one I thought they would go
My favorite trope is...
I'm a sucker for redemption/revenge arcs and heroes of the realm stories
Rules are...
Basically don't be a dick. Respect each other, work with each other and remember the dice will roll what they roll
Anna's ideal table
My ideal table have people who like to have fun, even if they roll a 1. They're able to have fun and do stupid shit, but also realise that there's a story that is being told and is willing to follow my clues/bait

I love it when a player
wants to try something stupid that has a 0.5% chance of succeeding and they have a go anyway
