When I'm not running games I'm...

Studying, actually running outside, listening to music, driving in my Racing Simulator (yes..I know...) or vaguely thinking about TTRPG things I could do while skimming sourcebook pdfs

Rules are...

supposed to give players a set of expectations they can rely on, when making their decisions, but do not solely determine the reality of the game world

I am for a vibe that's...

Generally light-hearted and jovial, but treats serious moments with the respect they demand to have an impact.

I love it when a player

Embraces failure and treats is as a possibility for a great story moment, instead of "losing at a game". Also involving themselves in worldbuilding and talking to me about the game outside of the session.

I think it's a red flag when players...

criticise other players ingame decisions, because everyone should feel comfortable to make a decision without being berated or judged for it. Also not a fan, when someone acts indignantly, when something negative for their character happens or is ruled.
