My name is Noah and i've been playing DnD since I was around 12. When I was 17 I started to DM and have since fell into that role of "Forever DM". I love getting to create my own worlds and to tell a story in said world with people invested in their characters. I have DM'd for several different games including Dungeons & Dragons, Cyberpunk 2020, Star Wars 5e, and the Witcher TTRPG. My primary game though is D&D and it is what I have the most experience with and pretty much all I run nowadays. Hopefully StartPlaying can be a fun, new home for me!

How Noah runs games
My style focuses on deep story telling that is driven by player backstory and frontstory, with lots of rp and combat usually every other session or every 2 sessions. I also think that combat, aside from breaking up all the lore and rp, can be used to also tell story and to fuel rp in different ways. I tend to make my combat challenging later on in the game after my players get used to their characters, but I never try to kill the players unless they are going up against a very important boss or a character that is truly wishing to slay the PC's.
