About Brad
I discovered D&D a while ago, as a complete stranger to the game, entirely oblivious to anything to do with it. I started playing with kind of a joke character who inevitably grew on me, and before I knew it, the addiction had taken hold. I knew I needed more. But, we didn't have a DM. Therefore, I began a campaign for a group of friends, coming at it like a writer instead of a DM. I've always loved compelling stories that motivate, challenge and evoke, and I've always wanted to make my own. While it was challenging, it was quite the learning experience. It's only been a year, but it practically became like a job for a while, and I put a lot into it, learning ad I went. I've picked it up as I've gone along, and the game has definitely, fully captured my heart by now. I make interesting characters with a load of depth, intricate stories with various twists, and absurdly difficult combat encounters with a trick to them to make my players sweat, panic, and usually ultimately triumph, seizing victory from the jaws of defeat, and truly feeling like they've accomplished something. I love being a DM, and I'd love to be yours.

I became a GM because
I love stories, and telling them as much as I love experiencing them. I'm not just showing my players this world, I'm living it with them. I love the sense of community, collaboration, and just the awesome people that play this game, and I'd genuinely enjoy meeting a few more.
How Brad runs games
I make narrative, character-driven campaigns focused on the development of individual character growth and arc completion. My combat is very difficult, and it's very possible to die, but I do my best to ease you into it. I'm wholly collaborative and entirely open to cool character moments. I'm not harsh and can take suggestions and ideas well. I want you to feel like you're really a part of the world you're playing in, and that what you do matters. I love RP, and I do several voices, even employing a voicemod for a special level of character immersion.
