About me

Hey there! My name is Constantine but you can just call me Cosa. My background starts way back when I was a wee lad and played a few sessions of 3.5 with my sister. That flamed out as she got older and it was shelved for some time after that but I would occasionally take the books out, brush the dust off and peer into a world I so desperately wanted to be a part of. Fast forward, I'm moving out to Colorado from the east coast and I suggest D&D 5e as a way to keep in touch with my friends and some of my siblings. We took off running and that campaign has been running for four years and counting now. I diversified, running an in-person campaign for my friends and co-workers. I ran both at the same time, multi-tasking content creation with the moderation of 10 players and their backstories. I wanted more, to familiarize myself more with the content so I ran Curse of Strahd for the in-person table. While a module went well, my heart is in homebrew, truly. I yearn to provide a world for my players where they can feel alive in an vibrant world. I strive to provide the lore and reading material required while offering a rich and deep background of the world as a larger whole, there for you to interact with or not! My players are the story, with everything else built around them! I'll see you at the table!

GM Style

**There will always be a session 0, no exceptions.** My style is first and foremost, story-driven roleplay with a focus in strategy-based encounters, quests and battles. A lot of situations I place the players in can be thought out and countered without bloodshed or violence. Not every mystery, encounter etc. can be solved by hitting it really hard in my world. However, make no mistake, when it is time to spill some monster blood or take vengeance on your greatest enemy, expect a tactical and vivid onslaught of raging battle. I do not fudge rolls, your fate is sealed by them and I will not and cannot compromise that to save you. Conversely, always expect degrees of failure outside of combat. For example, if you miss a jump over a pit or gap and you fail your acrobatics roll, you don't just plummet to your death because "the dice said so." Instead, you just barely catch a root hanging down the side of the pit and your party can now aid, give adv, etc. Another example, you are attempting to pick a lock and fail your check. The lock doesn't break and you can try again but now you hear footsteps from down the hall and now the DC is higher because you have to pick the lock faster. A certain expectation I have is to, AT LEAST, read the few documents I share as part of the campaign lore etc. I do my absolute best to make the large bulk of it optional reading for my more invested RP- heavy folks, however knowing baseline knowledge is helpful to you, your character and myself.
