About Ch'taera
Well met! I'm Brandon, and I believe stories are best told together. I've loved fantasy and games ever since I can remember, and with a MSt in Creative Writing from the University of Oxford, and 7 years of working in education, I can provide you with a fun and unforgettable TTRPG experience. I have written and published D&D modules on the DMs Guild and I can use my skills as a teacher to help you with rules and playing the game in an unintimidating and encouraging way. I first fell in love with D&D in middle school, when I picked up a copy of the 3.5 edition player's handbook at a bookstore. I remember flipping through and being enchanted by its pages, and I would love the opportunity to offer you the same spark in your gaming experience.

How Ch'taera runs games
I do my best to cater to the interests of my players and as such I emphasize certain pillars of play according to what they enjoy most. Be it social interaction, exploration, or combat, I run the game to lean on whichever one(s) you find the most fun. I do love a strong narrative throughline, so I do my best to make each encounter contribute to our story. I love creating memorable characters and villains that impact the story in a meaningful way. Lastly, I love what players are capable of coming up with (especially when they have ideas I never would have thought of!) and as such I reward creativity, be it creating combos with other players' attacks in combat, co-operating and making use of everyone's unique abilities to get past a guard, I think it's great when we can inspire each other and have more fun collaboratively than we could individually.
