About me

Hello there, my name is Matthew and I am a 30 year old GM who works in an infectious disease laboratory. I have been GMing since 2019 and have run several modules to completion, some multiple times. I have run Tomb of Annihilation, Icewind Dale rime of the Frostmaiden, Descent into Avernus, and a few other modules. I would say the thing about my games that I get complimented on the most is the music and musical ambience I use for my games. Music is a big part of my life and I spend a good amount of time finding proper ambiences and songs that portray the type of mood I want for a specific battle as it helps me get immersed and into the game. I tend to run roleplay heavy games as I really give the players the floor on how they want a session to go.

GM Style

I tend to run games with a more sandbox style that allow the players to really choose what they get up to. My style tends to lean on the roleplay heavy side as I allow the players roleplay to dictate where the session and the game goes. In lots of my games the groups will have entire sessions of roleplay between each other and NPCs and other times it will lean heavier into combat, it really boils down to what the players choose to get up to.
