About Vaughn
Hello! My name is Vaughn. I have been a Dungeon Master for 6 years now and have run Homebrew campaigns the entire time. On my journey, I have run four full-length campaigns, promising batches of fresh storytelling from various genres, from Steampunk, to Dark Fantasy, Light Fantasy, and even Gangster Noir. I promise to ensure a good quality in everything that I do regarding world, voice work, and making sure that your characters are incorporated not only into the world itself, but also allow yourselves to carve out new lands for your characters and see them evolve while being on this journey with me. My games are player-focused on everything I do, ensuring that even characters with the silliest backstories or the ones with the longest to read are given their time in the sun and time to explore parts of their character while exploring a vast world designed to be explored. During my campaigns, I create random encounter sheets for the zones you are in to make the journey exciting while offering strange subplots you can follow between traveling on your quests. As someone with a degree in Screenwriting, writing world lore is at the forefront of my mind, so I can guarantee that all those who play with me can explore these rich worlds. I can also guarantee that while conversing with me, you can see how we can incorporate your character into these worlds, and potentially have you write significant lore chunks to have you be a living and breathing part of this world. How Vaughn runs games
I am a DM who is heavy on Roleplaying. I love sitting, watching characters talk and discuss their plans, talking with NPCs, and enjoying each other's company while they embark on these large journeys. Though this does not mean I am against combat, I typically enjoy throwing at least a smaller encounter every session or two, with large boss fights with different mechanics each time to keep it from being a slap fest. I enjoy creating my worlds and enjoy voicing all the characters within them.
