About Ada
Hello! I'm Ada (she/her), a GM who brings 20 years of experience in crafting rich, epic narratives and creating homebrew content to your table. Tabletop gaming is a longtime passion of mine, and I aim to bring my players unforgettable experiences with epic and engaging combat as well as deep and personal storylines. I have a passion for creating rich, personalized narratives that leave my players with experiences they'll be thinking about decades later. I do my best to match the energy my players bring. If you're the type who likes to write up several pages of backstory, I'll be sure to incorporate as much as I can into the game. How Ada runs games
My #1 goal is to create a satisfying experience for my players. There's no need to abide by a mechanic that the table finds frustrating when it can be solved with a minor tweak. I have a strong mastery of the system, and this intimate knowledge allows me the flexibility to know where the system can be bent and streamlined. I run a handful of houserules (i.e. no item identification, better hero points, flexible ancestry boosts) that I feel make for a better game, but I always take the opinions of my players into account. I prefer to run games with a strong narrative and reactive characters that the party can really engage with. I want the players to feel like the heroes in an epic story where they experience moments of dramatic tension and challenge while they explore a rich and interactive world that really sticks with them. I run my games on FoundryVTT with a curated selection of modules to enhance quality of life and immersion, as well as the technical skill to create rule elements to implement custom content or automation.
