About me

Long time GM of 12+ years. A simple college experience has turned into a fixation and deep part of my life. A player and GM of various systems, I started with DnD 3.5e, and worked my way up to Pathfinder and 5e, my preferred systems. Also, some more niche systems such as the Gensys System, Edge of the Empire/Age of Rebellion Star Wars system, Mutants and Masterminds, and as a fan of video games and anime, many homebrewed systems in order to allow my friends to play games in their favorite fandoms. In addition, I am a Game Runner at GenCon, currently entering my 4th year volunteering there as the time of this About page being made.

GM Style

-Roleplay: I am a roleplay moderate GM, and I tend to go with the flow of things as best as I can. I try my best to work with my players to get what they want out of a campaign, and try my best to keep it as civil as possible. -Combat: I am a very fond enjoyer of combat in TTRPGs, and I strive to make my combats unique as possible, and try to be as reasonable and semi-realistic with them. I try my hardest to make sure my Players each get certain combats to shine in, and my best efforts to keep combat fun. -Twists: Often times, I allow my Players to pick paths on their own with some 'starter rails' to follow. As such, in many home games, my Players and I often enjoy more neutral or even Lawfully Evil aligned campaigns, as they say, and I quote, 'Sometimes it's more fun to just be evil than always being good.' As such, I am not against not always being the heroes or mighty figures of myth. However, I am firm in certain things that could take place through more morally gray or ambiguous settings and will have no hesitations of cutting out things that would make my players uncomfortable. -Homebrew: I am a very big fan of homebrew style systems, having made many for friends to enjoy their own favorite settings. As such, I am more than willing to attempt a homebrew system to enjoy a franchise that you would like, from mechas like Gundam and 86, to more action packed and fast paced series like Demon Slayer and RWBY, to the super hero settings of Marvel and DC. So please, feel free to ask about a homebrew series if you're interested.
