About GM Jam
I've been playing D&D since I was seven years old, and began DMing short adventures and one-shots in 3.5e and Pathfinder as a pre-teen. When D&D 5e came out, I jumped in headfirst, and it has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. As a DM, I value player agency and fun experiences; the greatest strength of D&D is the ability to do anything. I write my adventures without a specific 'ending' in mind, I love improving and going with the flow, and absolutely embrace the 'Rule of Cool.' I've had a lot of experience running campaigns and adventures for first-time players, and pride myself on providing an open and inclusive space for new players to enjoy.

How GM Jam runs games
When DMing long-term campaigns, I balance roleplay and combat evenly. My one-shots tend to be more combat-oriented, mostly due to the short time span available. I ensure that both my combat and roleplay experiences are fun, detailed, and cause unique and unexpected situations. My combats tend to be crunchy and tactical, while remaining fast-paced and simple to understand. I love using voices in roleplay and ensuring that every character you meet feels unique from one another.
