About Tom Lando
I've been running games for a long time now and I think I'm alright at it. I've been running World of Darkness/Chronicles of Darkness since high school, and I've been running 5th edition dnd since 2014. More recently I've been way into Forged in the Dark games, particularly for their collaborative elements. I'm openly queer, have created some game content and even games of my own, and have a podcast about rpgs called Compare and Campaign. I don't claim to be some kind of rpg genius or super gm, but I do try to create a chill environment in which we can get excited about each others' ideas. Hopefully, I'm always getting better!

How Tom Lando runs games
I love moments where everyone comes together to create a great story moment. I tend to look at the rpg table like a writer's room, with everyone pitching ideas and the group working together to figure out what fits best or feels the most exciting. The best ideas are the ones that make everyone stop and say, "Oh yeah!" because someone came up with the perfect direction for the action to take. I encourage players to find that direction through collective brainstorming.
