About Alexander
I began my TTRPG experience a little under a decade ago in college, mentored by upperclassman and participating in variety of systems and game types. I have been running and participating in various home games over the years. Now, I'm ready to roll initiative, honing my skills and facing the challenges of public games.

How Alexander runs games
I focus on flexibility authenticity, and creative problem solving in my games. I enjoy the emergent gameplay that develops through the synchronization of roleplay and game mechanics, which leads to natural outcomes and unexpected results. My gaming philosophy is that rules are for guidance and reference, there to be bent with justification. In terms of style, I like to work with mixed themes, such as hope in darkness, drama in the mundane, and high-stakes in the absurd. I see my gamemastering preparation as akin to an engineer, setting up the background so as to react dynamically in response to player actions. I work with my players to help best express themselves and their character. Players of all skill and experience are welcome to bring their madcap plans and crazy characters. See you on the board.
