About me

Greetings! I'm Jeremy, or "Jer" if you like. I was bitten by the TTRPG bug in the early 90's when my friends introduced me to D&D 2nd Edition, and never looked backed. I first bore the mantle of GM with D&D 3rd edition and have been a GM off and on for the past 20 years. I've mostly been playing Pathfinder 2nd Edition and D&D 5th Edition in recent years. My background is in Theatre and Education. I live to facilitate learning and growth, and ensuring that everyone has a good time while doing it! I bring improvisation, personality, and most importantly flexibility to my adventures. All questions are safe, and you will find thoroughness and patience from me when seeking your answers. I've worked in special education and my personal orbit of friends and family contains many individuals in the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities. Maintaining a table that is safe, inclusive, and supportive is of vital importance to me. If you ever have questions or concerns, you can always bring them to me!

GM Style

I view the GM-Player relationship as a partnership, rather than authoritative or adversarial. Do you have a cool and unexpected way to approach a situation? It won't always be an option, but lets hear it! I feel combat should be exciting with genuine risks, but a TPK will never be the goal. I do my best to take a balanced approach based on the interests of the table, wherever possible. I lean towards encouraging collaborative storytelling with lots of opportunity for roleplay, especially amongst the party. If the table is looking for more or less of something, frequent session debriefs will inform how adjustments are made along the way. In summary, as GM, it's my job to deliver both a framework for play, but also adaptation to the audience's taste!
