About me
I'm a forever-DM with a penchant for narrative and a history with horror. I think the favorite way I've been described is as if a Choose Your Own Adventure book was possessed by an evil talk show host. I've got about 22 years of DM experience, and I've been doing it professionally for a couple years now. Few things excite me more than players with solutions that I didn't think of, or the eureka moments at the end of a puzzle. Except, perhaps, getting new people into the hobby.
GM Style
Roleplay is my passion. I love using voices to let the players feel like they're communicating, and I don't shy away from them expressing emotions. The mysteries you face will be wrapped in riddles and puzzles, sometimes guided by prophecy, and always steeped in the most alive and believable world I can manage. While I respect tactics and crunch, I prefer to handle combat with a more cinematic and narrative flourish.

Firstly, I do apologise if my english isn't the best I am not a native english speaker. That said, if I could select most (if not all) of the "what's great about the game master" I would, Clock is a amazing gm, i have been one of his player for now more than 2 years now and I've not look back since then. From someone that is use to jump from gm to gm, I've NEVER had a gm of Clock's quality, he is the only gm that manage to make me cry during a scene or a gm that gave me trouble sleeping at night, he is THAT GOOD, he has his way of gripping you by the soul and twist it to get you hooked in, if you're a character & story driven player that love to get invested to death in your characters, Clock's is the guy for you! For the big table he makes sure that everyone get a relatively equal time under the spotlight, making sure that everyone has a role, if you're a barbarian he'll make sure to use your primal strength to show how strong your character is, if you're an artificer he'll be able to describe how your potion would MELT YOUR ENEMIES!!! (He's not afraid of getting graphic BUT he'll make sure that everyone is ok with it and will actively manage how graphic he gets.) But that said running tavern roleplay doesn't bore him, on the contrary! If he needs to describe the fire in the eyes of your companion, he will, he gets in details for each scene. Now maybe I'm bias because I've been his player for more than 2 years but saying that Clock is a good gm is a great understatement. So for the question "Do I recommend Clock as a gm ?", damn right I do.
For the past few years I've been in games he has run, and I've never encountered a GM as capable of handling the kinds of nonsense we've gotten up to. This includes everything from solving plot-relevant fights with diplomacy, plot-relevant diplomacy with fights, and electing to join the Dark Lord instead of following the plot because they seemed more interesting.
Fantastic storyteller and really great about getting players into the mindset of the game. Played in a game he ran for a year and had a blast and actually really grew attached to the world and the characters. Not quiiite as intense with voices as other GMs. But, it honestly has not had any effect on immersion or the level of passion he applies to his characters and I never felt confused as to who I was talking to. Clocks is very adaptive and if you can dream and logic it. He is pretty good at making it work within reason. He even did a crazy amount of zoology research so that I could apply my interest of wildlife biology to the game! Overall amazing GM with awesome world building, pacing, and characters!
He went to impressive lengths to accommodate player actions, ensuring that no matter what players did, the story could continue in a logical fashion. Our game was a year long, and several players were quite chaotic, yet he still pulled off a satisfying ending that covered damn near everything.
