About me

I'm a DM/GM. I've tried playing a game, but it's not the same. I need to be crafting a world and a story using the rules from D&D5e. I've been doing it with friends for years and now that I've moved away, I'm looking for a few consistent groups to explore brand new worlds, with unique enemies and crazy to game-breaking magical items. I like to start at level one and grow over time and level based on sessions played. I don't track XP, weight or things that slow down the pace of an epic adventure and narrative. I do ask that players think a little about their backstory and I will incorporate this into the world and in addition to the main quests, players will also experience a crafted personal quests to create an arc. I'm available after 8pm (CST) to 2 am for 2-6 hour sessions, but I try to aim for 3 1/2 to 4 hour long sessions. If players are interested in recording the audio of sessions for podcasting purposes or other reasons, as long as all other players consent that is something that could be arranged.

GM Style

Go with the flow, a balance of exploration, role play and combat. The rule of cool applies for players, even is we need to stretch how long an action is so long as it's not abused. I've always been able to reach a fair consensus with my previous groups and it has been a great experience. The world is our own, created for a unique experience populated with Monsters both existing and unique boss fights. The world is open and players are encouraged to follow what they think is right (or wrong) and the world and quests will unfold around them.
