Hello I'm Dane - I go by TreeBeard in many circles. I've always been a huge Tolkien fan and only recently got into playing TTRPG's. My wife is a writer so I started playing these games as a bridge between my gaming addiction and to help promote her writing skills. I am new to GMing, however I used to run an IRL LARP fighter group for a few years back in the day. I am looking at running some beginner content and working out my GM skills. My long term GM bucket list goals are to run Kingmaker and then a custom kingdom management westmarches style. As a player, I have had a blast experimenting with various game systems. I look forward to homebrewing/crafting my own system one day.

How Dane runs games
I tend to be a RP-light individual. I am still finding my voice as a GM. I do a lot of 'voice acting' in front of my family, but I am not as of yet confident to bring it out willy nilly. I do enjoy lore, world building, and character backstories. I have a long history of strategy gaming. You can expect very tactical combat with a focus on meaningful teamplay mechanics. I am generally a very chill individual. I am very willing to work with players on whatever kind of gameplay/game they want to craft.
