About me

Hi there! I'm a long-term Fantasy (and D&D) enthusiast. I played old-school D&D throughout my Teens with Battle Maps & Miniatures. After a very long hiatus to the hobby, I returned to 5th Edition 5 years ago via Roll20 (and Discord) and am now running games with Virtual Maps & Digital Tokens. I'm a huge fan for "Theater of the Mind" and try to be as descriptive as possible. However, I enjoy Fantasy Artwork and make an effort to provide Maps, Tokens and Handouts that enrich the experience for the group. I run games the way that I like to play. I want to be invested in my player and the setting. You background and backstory will matter. Player Agency drives the setting. You actions/inactions matter and will have an effect. What your characters do will drive the story and ultimately decide the setting. The Background for each of my Campaigns is the same but each group will have a truly unique experience based on their play.

GM Style

I'm a huge fan for "Theater of the Mind" and try to be as descriptive as possible. However, I enjoy Fantasy Artwork and make an effort to provide Maps, Tokens and Handouts that enrich the experience for the group. I run games the way that I like to play. I want to be invested in my player and the setting. You background and backstory will matter. Player Agency drives the setting. You actions/inactions matter and will have an effect- perhaps in the City, possibly on a grander scale. What your characters do will drive the story and ultimately decide the setting. The initial setting for each of my Campaigns is the same but each group will have a truly unique experience based on their play. I would say that, on average, my groups are 40% Roleplay/Social Exploration, 30% Combat and 10% Physical Exploration.
