About Darrin Drader (Professional DM and veteran game designer)

I started playing D&D in the fall of 1984, after which I fell in love with roleplaying games of all kinds. D&D has always been my first love, and I've been working as a professional game designer for twenty-three years. During that time, I've worked for Wizards of the Coast, Paizo Publishing, Mongoose Publishing, Legendary Games, and many more. In addition to design, I still love running games, and I currently have a Fallout RPG game that runs bi-weekly on the hit Twitch channel, Cybernation Uncensored, as well as a Star Trek game that runs on my own channel, ddraderdesigns. I'm interested in running 5E games, which can be in the published setting of the player's choice, or my own setting, which I've been slowly building over the past decade. I am 100% welcoming of all players from all diverse backgrounds and identities. I appreciate your consideration and I hope we can roll dice together soon.

How Darrin Drader (Professional DM and veteran game designer) runs games

Both of my streaming games are narrative-based, but there's nothing more fun to me than sitting down over a virtual tabletop and running the party through an epic adventure that involves both roleplaying and dungeon crawl elements. My roots are old school, but I design for and run modern systems. I may not be the best at funny voices, but I can guarantee you interesting interactions, an engaging plot, and unexpected challenges.
