About me
Hail brave adventurers! My name is Manuel, and I want to be your Dungeon Master. For almost 9 years, I've been helping friends and strangers alike weave magical tales across strange worlds as they encounter horrifying creatures and recover ancient treasures. I especially enjoy DMing new players, and helping introduce them to the hobby that has been so important to me. I pride myself on patient explanation of the rules, and there are no questions too mundane or too silly. I welcome all players, and strive to provide a fun, respectful, and safe environment where we can all create exciting tales of heroism and explore fantastical worlds. I'd love the opportunity to play with you, too. Jump in a game today, and let's tell some amazing stories together!
GM Style
I love all aspects of the game, but tend to emphasize roleplaying to create a story that resonates with you. Want to explore a bewitching forest? Fight in epic battles? Discover a double agent and become heroes of the realm? The entire game will be customized for you and how you play! The whole point of D&D is to tell a collaborative story. My role is to set the scene in a story that pulls you in and won't let go.

Players say this GM is great at:
Storytelling
Creativity

Atlas has a real talent for worldbuilding, an enthusiastic and casual DMing style, and a good sense of humor. His grasp of the rules is solid, but he also knows how to adapt to improvisation from players and adjust plans accordingly to not limit creativity. I've foiled his intended route for campaigns more than a few times by doing something he didn't expect or accomplishing my goals in an unintended way, and he's always adapted quickly to the change and took it in interesting directions.
Honestly such a great guy. I look forward to playing in his game every week, he brings forth great energy and is able to captivate me with his narrative story telling and goofy humor. Even if the group ends up off topic he is able to wrangle the party back in and hold the attention with plenty of great plot hooks and interesting characters. This is clearly someone who loves DnD and roleplaying in general. Needless to say I highly recommend Manny to anyone whos looking to play a killer DnD game.
The GM is great at building a world and letting our characters live in it. With dynamic scenarios, places, and people, it feels like visiting an actual place with your friends rather than moving some game pieces on a board. He is really open to Player Creativity, Exploration, and Interaction and incorporates it into his games. I really can't recommend enough 9001 / 10.
Manuel's games are a fun mix of engaging roleplay, in well-built settings, and with some challenging but fair combat. He has helped blend some wild player character concepts into the settings, and found ways to make them fit smoothly (a certain Warforged flavored as a vending machine jumps to mind lol). As well he has been supportive and accomidating with dealing with things like player's phobias. He put an entire coastline arc into the astral sky, similar to treasure planet becuase I have a phobia of deep dark water. It was awesome! No deep water, just a sea of astral clouds. It actually ended up being a really cool new setting :D I've run in a number of Manuel's games over the past few years on roll20 and strongly recommend him as a DM/GM!
Atlas is a fantastic GM. He allows every character to shine and grow throughout the campaign no one is left behind, even if you are more shy. He does a great job intertwining your backstory and goals with the world, making the arc feel organic and fitting. He makes sure to allocate time for everyone to finish their personal goals for a more fulfilling gameplay. Atlas has fantastic visual and audio aids for virtually any situation you can think of ranging from funny to spooky to intense moments etc. There is also a great selection of magic items, definitely something for everyone. He may even curate some items that fit your character thematically to encourage immersion. If you are a new player or less experienced, he will ensure that you are set up for success and not crippling yourself while also having fun and understanding the fundamental mechanics of your class. While he encourages RP moments, if you are uncomfortable with the idea it will not be forced on you as you always have a choice whether you want to engage or not. His games have a good balance between funny and serious, so there is a space for all kinds of play. Overall, Atlas is a great GM for all types of players, and he will work with you to make sure that you have the best experience possible as a character and as a player.
