About Martin
I'm an English teacher, book reader, outdoor guy and a big fantasy enthusiast. I found out about DnD some years ago and was instantly hooked.

When I'm not running games I'm...
Prepping for games, reading, possibly hiking. But probably thinking about the next game I'm running.
How Martin runs games
I find DnD is at it's best when roleplay and mystery are involved. I find combat fun when it's sparce and challenging. I love enabling my players to make great stories together. I create the scene, you create the story.

I prep by
Visiting Roll20, then Inkarnate, then my Notebook, then Pinterest to find visual aid. It's a whole process.
When it comes to voices
There's many voices in my arsenal :D I don't do them all the time, just because I also have to focus on other things, but I use them when appropriate.

I am for a vibe that's...
Character driven drama, small moments of light and hope in a dark world.
I love it when a player
Acts something out or puts a part of themselves into a character. I love it when they make characters that fit into the setting like a puzzle piece. Makes everything else so smooth!
I think min/maxing...
is fine but limits player experience. There's so many spells and subclasses no-one ever uses, which is a shame. You should play what you feel calls to you. Let me take care of the balancing.
