About me
A dungeons and dragons fifth edition dungeon master. I’m 26 years old and have been playing ttrpg’s for about 8 years. Creating homebrew worlds such as my setting of Astralas and running games for my friends is a huge passion of mine!
GM Style
Narrative story telling, I love roleplay first and foremost and craft campaigns specifically to incorporate the players into the story and fully realize their characters. I run a 70/30 roleplay to combat balance but depending on what my players enjoy as well as the current story arc max fluctuate. I like to think I’m proficient with accents and character voices and write a large variety of dynamic and engaging npc’s whether they be Allie’s or villains!

World Builder
He runs my Friday game! Amazing DM, absolutely the kind of storyteller that will return your investment in the story tenfold with engaging narratives and intense combats. Incredibly detailed world-builder that works with players to flesh out parts of the world. Has a good eye for balancing roleplay and combat. Be prepared for dangerous combats and hard decisions -- you'll be rewarded for playing it smart and creative, but compounding poor decisions could spell your end. Every session has left me starving for the next one.
Super story driven. has great atmosphere with music and images such. Lots of thought and care in his world. And in general really works hard to make the characters and their story shine while still having fun and engaging combats that are maybe a little on the tough side but thats something i enjoy.
Dillon has a deep passion for TTRPGs and narrative and engrosses himself to his very core in stories and the characters who tell them. This investment clearly comes through in his playstyle; both as a GM, and a player. We've passed *several* hours weekly or monthly simply discussing the nature of narrative and RPGs, and he takes the discussions to heart and incorporates them into his games. He's a very attentive GM - always wanting to check in with his players to see where their mentality is at with their characters at points in the overall story, and never fails to ask where they predict things might go and what sorts of things might interest or engage them as a player. Not immune to criticism, he will gladly restructure a flawed map, if he can do so without being disruptive and - while he will try to defend his point - generally doesn't become defensive if you admit to him that something could have been better, and he is conscientious enough to take criticism to heart and try to improve the next time. He can come across as dispassionate to the point seemingly of disinterest, but he is aware of this flaw and is currently trying to improve upon it (just remind him: Interested is interesting). His combats can be a bit on the difficult side, but are usually also quite creative, and he thrives on players being equally creative in how they ply their resources and interact with his combats. Be ready to sweat bullets and/or bite nails at least once per combat, though. Overall: highly recommend! I've been playing with as my GM and as a fellow player for well over four years now, and I have no interest or intention of stopping any time soon!
While not new to RP, I am new to Dungeons & Dragons. The rule sets were absolutely daunting and with severe ADHD reading through pages and pages of the do's and don'ts of the Player Handbook was almost impossible. I nearly gave up before I even started. Wootsie stepped in and pulled me aside for a private session, helped me re-build my character from the ground up, explained everything that she had, what I could do, and ran a mock session with me. In the mock session we went through various types of combat scenarios. I've been so much more confident in playing, that I was actually able to start enjoying D&D and have fun instead of meticulously combing through my actions during everyone else's turn and then panicking on my turn because I was still so unsure. Happy those days are behind me! The voice acting is phenomenal, from the funny to the heavy and emotional the ranges are all there and really hit you in the feels. Descriptive visuals will never be lacking in any of his games, nor will creative characters and challenging encounters.
