About me

I've been DMing for a little over 3 years using my homebrew world. My games are sandboxes based on heavy exploration, moderate combat, and some roleplaying. I enjoy creating unique locations and factions for my players to interact with and shape with as little limitation as possible. It brings me joy to see the kinds of stories my players make with my setting. I do my best to balance encounters so that logical play and paying attention to clues will make success likely, while also putting forward real challenges that can sometimes lead to life threatening situations. My ideal group is made up of players who are excited to work together with as little interpersonal drama as possible, though inter-party drama can be fun in small doses. In this vein, I do not tolerate any sort of personal attacks of any kind between my players and want to facilitate cooperative and collaborative story telling where everyone at the table can feel engaged and respected. Currently, I only have Saturday nights available.

GM Style

Exploration>Combat>RP Sandbox Style High fantasy My style is heavily based on theater of the mind, but I do use some artwork and background music. Sometimes I will use a battle map for a particularly climactic combat. I vary my settings, NPC types, combats, puzzles, etc., but I particularly like to use undead and horror themes and a modified imagining of the Red Wizards of Thay.
