How Jack runs games
I like working with players to create characters with deep ties to the adventure world, and adventure itself. To that end, I'm not a very "lethal" DM, as I enjoy rooting for the players and for character arcs to completion. However, I do enjoy the old-school takes of people like Justin Alexander. My current DM philosophy is based on him and Mike Shea from SlyFlourish; a mix of sandbox nodes for the PCs to find and develop, while prioritizing storytelling and character-central narratives.
