About me
Hello, my name is Daniel. I have been playing table tops since I was 13 years old. COVID has changed tabletop gaming at its core bringing an online and virtual movement to replace the hard feel of a miniature in the hand. Friday Night Magic and Pathfinder Leagues moved digital, and here we are. I am not only a GM, but I am a player. I work a full time job and raise children, and many players do too. As a player, I enjoy participating in games like L5R, where narrative stories and character building and individuality among peers flourish and parties are not uniform in intention. As GM I have spent many years traveling the Pathfinder Society, Hosting tables at local shops, and understanding the Beer and Pretzels, One Shot, for strangers. These are the funny, silly, short, non-repeatable mysteries and stories where you kick back a beer after work and nerd out. Campaigns are long term games, with stories built around the characters within the game, rather than events within the game dictating what happens to strangers. Campaigns require a solid three population with solid attendance and a fair amount of work, materials, writing, and preparation. If you'd like to set up a private table or public table for a long term campaign, we can set up rates by hour, and a free session 0 for creation.
GM Style
Style A - A Style A Game is a Pop Up Game - This is generally a game based on a module that will be completed in one session. This is beer and pretzels, fun with friends, slug fest. The game for the min maxers and the dice rollers who just want to relax for a few hours or a new player who is curious. Everyone is welcome, I don't expect parties to be cohesive or generate teamwork, lower difficulty and chill vibes. Style B - My campaign style is long term, choices matter, and the stories are player driven, not world driven. If you want to express yourself, and want your actions to matter, and to see the consequences of exactly what killing that dragon in that cave did, or what the bandits did to the town AFTER you attacked them, mostly sand-box. Player Non-Aggression Policy: In A Style A Game - I expect the Paladin and the Necromancer to play nice. In A Style B Game - I do not expect the same. Treat people with respect, and coordinate as a team and games last longer, people show up more often, and stories are more often remembered.
