About Sebastian Dircks
As someone who grew up being read 'The Chronicles of Narnia', I've always been captured by high-fantasy worlds and unique creatures, locations, and magics. When I was a teenager, I found out what roleplay was, simply referred to as 'rp', and I became enthralled with the free-form group writing hobby. Through this entirely free-form imaginative medium, i've crafted hundreds of characters, vast worlds, and intricate stories. Some time in my late teens I had of course heard and seen enough of this legendary nerd game, Dungeons and Dragons, and I wanted to dip my toes. I knew nothing, and wanted to have fun. So we did. I made up some huge plot, had my friends make characters similar to my experience in the rp world, and I had them roll whenever I felt it was necessary. They didnt have specific abilities to use mechanically, bosses did whatever I felt was right, and it was the most rules-light game you could imagine. But that got me hooked, and I watched as much DnD content as I possibly could going forward. Recently, i've gained the confidence to run more games, this time with rulings and setup and preparation and laughter and heartbreak! Im ready to give my players an experience worth telling the world about, and I sure hope you'll join me for it! I do swear, I apologize if that's a dealbreaker for anyone.

How Sebastian Dircks runs games
My favorite rule is the rule of cool, give me a wild description and it might just fly. I thoroughly enjoy roleplay of all kinds, and will gladly stretch rules to fit the roleplay narrative (E.G. Saying more than six seconds of dialogue in a combat). The look of excitement and joy on players faces when they're exploring somewhere or something new brightens my whole month. I like combats that have a dramatic flair to them, something that sets them apart from other similar scenarios.
