About Michael
Ive been a forever DM since I was 12 years old and have played and run every edition. Ive run not only games, but done workshops and classes on how to play and How to Be a DM. I currently am a Pro DM on the Outschool.com site running several games a week for kids for the last 5 years. Here is a little about me. (https://outschool.com/teachers/Michael-Street?usid=pj9czkzI&signup=true&authTrigger=follow_teacher&utm_campaign=share_leader_link). Im looking to expand beyond Outschool as some of my kids have aged out but are looking to continue playing with me. This seems like a great format

How Michael runs games
In my earliest memories, I sought out mythical worlds, fantastical stories, and daring adventures. My nose was always in a book, as I looked to be swept away into some far-off place. And then, at age 8, I found a way to not only experience stories, but create them with my friends – that's when I discovered Dungeons & Dragons. Here we are, 40+ years later, and I’ve never stopped. I’ve played and been a dungeon master (DM) for every version of D&D created, and I still love it. Why? Because imagination matters. Storytelling matters. Myths and legends and adventures aren’t just something to watch in the movies, they are something for us to live and create and experience together. No matter who you are or where you’re from, I want to help you tell your story. I want to help unlock your imagination and work together to create the world that you want to be in and explore. As a DM, that’s what I do – create an open and accepting space where you can have some fun and be yourself, through the lens of wild and fantastical characters. Even when I’m serving as the DM, I always consider myself to be a Player. Let’s learn from each other, flex our imaginations, and explore the mythical world of Dungeons & Dragons!
