About me

Greetings fellow adventurers, my name is Skuld. I have been playing Dungeons & Dragons for nine years and a DM for a little over one year. D&D is one of my favorite pastimes and some of my favorite memories take place at a table. I love the group storytelling nature of D&D and particularly when it creates magical moments that are unexpected. I am a textile artist by trade and love making artwork based on D&D lore and gaming in general. I'm currently working on a three-dimensional dragon with a dice store hidden under his golden treasure hoard. I am fascinated by myths and legends and D&D really speaks to me as a person. I love weaving lore and player stories into the tapestry of a campaign. Letting people explore the myriad of worlds that the game allows us to create together is one of my favorite aspects of the game. As far as fandoms go I am a big Critical Roll fan as well as other geeky things like JourneyQuest and Dingo Doodles.

GM Style

I view D&D as group storytelling. I weave my PCs' backstories and arcs into the campaign to help add depth and flavor to the world. In my opinion, it is vital to work with players to develop their characters in a way that is engaging for them. I try and add visuals whenever possible both in and out of combat to enhance the experience for players. Roleplaying is very much a part of my games as I feel it adds to the storytelling aspects of D&D and as such players' actions impact the world around them for better or worse.
