Howdy! I’m Chris, and I'm here to create a fun and welcoming space for all players, regardless of their experience level. More than that, I'm excited to work with you to grow a thriving, dynamic world full of peril, mystery, and collaborative storytelling for your characters. I’m a he/him nerd who’s been obsessed with roleplaying games since the original D&D Red box came out. My decades of experience with RPGs and virtual tabletops are at your service.

GM Style

“Be a fan of the players’ characters.” This gamemleaster’s principle from the Apocalypse World RPG is at the heart of everything I do behind a GM’s screen. I’ve been playing since the days when some DMs lived to oppose the players and their characters, so I know how important this distinction is. I want to see y’all win, I want y’all to look cool as hell doing it, and I want your achievements to have meaning in the game world. It won’t be easy, but the challenge is tailored to the abilities of both the characters and their players, from beginners to grognards Pretending to be other people is my favorite part of the game. I love doing NPC voices, but it’s fine if you don’t. I just want to help your character become more than words and numbers on the page - to help them care about the story, and to give them stakes in the outcome. I’ve run long-form games with homebrew settings and/or storylines in the past, but I prefer the structure of published campaigns and adventure paths. I’ll convert these across game editions when necessary, keep things on track, and stock them with whatever game elements appeal to you the most. I’m not a rules lawyer, even when running games that reward system mastery. I live by the Rule of Cool: tell me what you’re trying to do, then roll the dice and see what happens.
