About me
I am a passionate DM from NYC, playing and DMing 5e for the last several years after starting with 3e, primarily in Forgotten Realms. I tell bold stories with forward plot momentum, challenging combat, and play balanced across combat, roleplay, and exploration. I use discord voice & video and Owlbear Rodeo for VTT.
GM Style
I meet every player before the game to learn their style of fun, share my table rules, and align expectations. I want every session to be fun and memorable: building on the group's imagination and my own. As an actor and improviser, I love the theatrical elements of roleplay and using a unique coterie of fantasy NPCs to bring life to a world. As a designer, I enjoy challenging and balanced combat that leverages the tactical elements of class as well as giving life to players' death-defying ideas that will be told over tavern fires for years to come.

Isaac is very open-minded and adaptable to what the party wants to do, and works to ensure everyone is included and has a voice at the table. I was part of his recent Havarti Heist, where we all played mice infiltrating a mansion to steal some cheese while navigating cats, dogs, guards and chefs. It was a lot of fun and I highly recommend joining Isaac for an adventure!

Isaac creates an immersive, exciting, just plain fun game with great storytelling, voices, and a solid knowledge of the adventure he's running. He's well-versed in the rules and explains them if needed, but allows for creative strategy and role-playing. Great sense of humor, keeps things moving, and keeps the stakes high with tough encounters.

So far the couple of sessions have been fun and a good beginner friendly start. not using a VTT other than owlbear radio makes it easy to start and get into. Questions are welcomed and it has been a fun run so far and Issac has been a great GM to learn from and work with.
