About me

After immediately falling in love with the hobby upon first contact with D&D, I soon became a gamemaster/referee for my small group of friends. In the decade since, I've curated a wealth of experience from a variety of different systems, styles, and groups. I love to introduce new players to the hobby, and enjoy providing my players with tactical combat challenges and in-depth roleplay opportunities in equal measure. I believe that the best way to create fun is to ensure that everyone can express themselves openly—I encourage open communication between the players and referee, and always welcome discussion about the game. I use Discord for voice chat and Foundry Virtual Tabletop, including premium modules to enhance the player experience. GM style

My defining feature as a GM is getting everyone involved. I enjoy encouraging all of the players to roleplay in a safe environment while providing strategic and tactical combat challenges, as well as concocting intriguing and mysterious plots for everyone to experience. While I do tailor my GM style to match the strengths of whichever system I'm running, these habits of mine are universal. I also love to create a quick, action-packed sense of pacing during my sessions; rather than getting bogged down by the minutiae of the rules, I make a sensible ruling and drive the action forward. Things never slow down for long, unless the players want it to!
