How Casey Jones runs games
A mix of hard and soft sci-fi themes, weighted depending on the setting. I'm told I tell great stories. Participant discretion is advised, mature themes present. My games tend to focus on adventure, conflict and making choices. Bigotry and intolerance have no place at my table.

I deal with rules issues by...
Re-explain my interpretation of the rule then giving the players a few moments to provide a citation if they disagree, I will often help them look it up. However the game must keep moving, and I reserve the right to apply a ruling and look it up after the session to course correct later.
If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
James Cameron or Nicholas Meyer
When it comes to voices
I occasional do them - I used to do voice acting! However my campaigns tend to focus more on constructing the narrative than imrov roleplay
Casey Jones's ideal table
Players who love science fiction and want to have some adventure, and aren't going to get hung up on rules minutia. Canon and rules are our guide, but not our shackle in my adventures. If we are playing in defined universes we will sometimes push against canon assumptions - you need to be ok with that to enjoy my table. My games tend to focus on adventure, conflict, making choices, and periodic tactical combat sessions. At my table all party members are allies by default -- all for one and one for all.

I love it when a player
plays in character without taking it too far.
I think metagaming...
should be kept to a minimum
I think min/maxing...
is fine - my games embrace it.
