About me
I am a queer, nonbinary writer, designer, streamer whose been working in the industry for five slutty, slutty years. I am the founder and creative director of Carrion Comfort, which produces creative, kind, and ultimately weird Tabletop games, content, and streams that punch up, not down. My passion for labor rights, indie developers, LGBTQ+ issues, and my Appalachian roots shine throughout the stories I wants to see in the industry and beyond. Outside of streaming and TTRPGs, I love wrestling, logic puzzles, mythology, culinary art, and my pets, Jigsaw & Rustin.
GM Style
Utilizing my background in Theatre, Voice Acting and years of streaming TTRPGs, I like to use colorful characters and expressive cinematic descriptions to bring worlds alive. I have a preference for Interpersonal Character stories over Tactical combat, but I'm not afraid to get into crunchy, murky combat. Prefer stories that have a nice blend of genre to provide variety and avoid stagnant sessions.

Wes is an amazing narrative storyteller and GM! I received the pleasure of playing in a "The Between" two-shot they ran with two other party members. The environment, the dynamics, and the collaborative efforts set in place for us made the game constantly engaging and involved for everyone in the room. From session one it felt like playing with old friends. Wes kept intuitive tabs on all of us, and absolutely helped shift the gameplay and the details to match our preferred play styles- keeping us on theme and on track without railroading or pushing. We were on the edge of our seats without ever being afraid of the challenges and risks, which is always excellent for a horror-themed campaign!
Wes is a great GM especially when it comes to introducing a new game to new players. They helped walk us through a beginning session without compromising our rp tendencies and really leaned into the way each of us liked to play. They were able to bring out our ability to collaboratively tell a story and still managed to weave in some creepy bits that worked so well. Definitely recommend playing a game with Wes if you get a chance, I don't think you'll regret it!
