About me

I'm a 30-something jack of many trades. I've been an educator, cab driver, photographer, retail manager, canvasser, and freight handler. Now I'm a Professional Game Master and run my own aquarium maintenance business. Life is truly full of adventure. In 2017, I decided to bring Dungeons & Dragons to my at-risk youth classroom. I taught my students how to play and instantly found many ways to turn this wonderful game into a teaching tool. This process led me to build my own world where even the humblest novice can become an epic adventurer. As a GM, my goal is to build a story for you that is unexpected, challenging, and fun. I make every effort to combine equal parts roleplay, puzzles, traps, combat, and sandbox exploration. Everyone has a preferred playstyle, and there's no reason we can't all be at the same table. The key is balance. That's what you'll get from me. My favorite PCs from previous players include Steven the Skinless, a human wizard who lost his skin to a corrupted ring; Khazra, a tabaxi witch who sacrificed herself to save her friends; and Kajit, a tabaxi druid who would rather throw a handaxe than cast a spell. I can be found with my personal gaming group on Wednesday nights, where I play a bugbear barbarian named King Hrorr.

GM Style

Story trumps rules. If you can justify an action, we will let the dice decide. I love good roleplay, but if you're more into strategic thinking and descriptive action, I can absolutely work with that. I rarely use published adventures, but you can count on engaging, original content in a new-but-familiar setting.
