Hi there!~ My name is Thony and I've been a DM for about 3 years now for a solid group of friends and have been a player for about 7 years prior to becoming a DM. I only host/play D&D 5e at the moment. Although I don't have the massive experience that other DMs have, I still put in a lot of dedication and love into preparing a game for my players. About 10 years ago, I started played D&D 3,5e with a couple of friends who lived nearby and later started DM'ing for friends who lived a bit further away. I host my games through the use of Foundry VTT with assets from Neutral Party, Forgotten Adventures and Hero Forge. What you can expect when you have me as your DM: Before we hop into a campaign, one shot or any sort of adventure, I would first like to know your motivations and what you're expectations are. After that's all done, we can look into either creating a character together or perhaps bringing an existing character into the adventure. Before Session Zero, I would like to start off with a Character Creation session which also includes creating your own custom virtual token to use on battle maps. For this we'll be using the following tools: Discord, Hero Forge and Foundry VTT. After your character(and others) have been created, we can set a time and date for Session Zero where I'll introduce you and the other players to Foundry VTT(lest ye already know it!) where I'll explain the ins and outs on how to use this system as a player. I have a discord server set up, where players can meet beforehand, discuss things or just have a nice chat. There are also voice channels available. The requirements in order to be able to play are: -A decent PC, it doesn't have to be the most powerful rig in the world it just has to be able run browser based games. -A stable internet connection -Discord -Microphone/Headset -Dedicated computer mouse, a trackpad also works, but it may limit your experience when trying to play on Foundry VTT Optional: -Webcam, it's a fun and nice way to show your face and can also add to the immersive and fun factor of playing What kind of adventures you can expect with me as your DM: I'll always try to make the experience as beginner friendly as possible. So we'll most likely be playing existing campaigns or one-shots written and set up by me. I personally don't mind homebrew stuff, but I would like to keep it close to the source material. You can help your fellow players by answering questions that they have, but please keep in mind that not everyone might be comfortable with having another player point them everything out, so try to keep the backseat DM'ing to a minimum. I will be using assets from Forgotten Adventures, Neutral Party and some third party assets to enhance the game experience.

GM style

I like to incorporate some character voices to my NPCs and I do like Roleplay, but I won't enforce it on anyone who's not comfortable with it. I'll always try to be just and fair and impartial. I'm here for the long run, so I'm not looking to TPK or kill players off without a good reason to do so. I'm a very direct person, so I don't mind opening up discussions and confronting problems and issues, because I would like to resolve them as soon as possible so we can continue enjoying the game. If someone feels the needs to talk out of game, that's okay too. If a player steps too far out of line, I will talk to them about this to try and figure out what the cause may be and if it can be resolved. If someone simply goes to far, breaks the rules or is simply an asshole, they can either leave out of their own accord or they can get kicked off the group. I always take the time to set up character creation with a fully customized token using Hero Forge, assets from Forgotton Adventures combined with assets from Neutral Party.
