About (Caos)
Hello, I'm Caos (or Joseph/José), I'm a 30 years old (or 31... I think) Chilean GM/Storyteller with a very strong focus on TTRPGs. I remember how they changed my life years ago when they showed me I was too able to socialize with people, meet friends and more by engaging with this hobby and it changed my life in ways I often have a hard time explaining. And over the years I've realized that the amount of enery I put into most games is wasted as many players just drop most games without a second thought or it becomes harder and harder to book another session and actually get to play. And as person that plays a lot online and with a lot of different people as it gets harder to maintain a single game group forever, I feel a bit frustrated and tired because of it. RPGs changed my life in a lot of ways and after being diagnosed with autism at a late age, they became the one thing I do most of all other things. This has then led me to this site as an opportunity to both find groups of people trying to play games they for sure hope will finish properly and not because a random player decided to cancel a game for X reason and then it bacame impossible to continue playing, but also as, hopefully, a way to earn a little money doing something I already spend so much of my energy doing and help my family, as finding a proper job and working as most "normal people" has become hell for me. Anyway, what you can expect from my games is the promise of my time there, the promise that if for any reason I have to cancel a session I will tell you well in advance and also the promise that I will be trying my best to provide you with a good story to remember having played later. As a sidenote, English is not my first language but I'm fluent on it, and I may sometimes get a bit stuck with some words o have had a harder time that usual explaining some things, but after running a full chronicle in English I discovered that with a bit of help from the players, we could all have fun, run the game and finish it in a satisfying way for everyone. And with each game, I'm certain I will become better and better at the things I'm not so good at yet.

I became a GM because
I couldn't find people to play with at the time or I only found that were already full, so I decided to GM to become the person that tries to find players instead of a player that fails to find a GM
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Mage: The Ascension 20th Anniversary Invisible Sun Deviant: The Renegades
My favorite shows/movies are
Ghost in the Shell (1995) and its sequel
How (Caos) runs games
Eng first, Español después: My style combine a structure where I prepare my chronicles to present a story that could be properly played in a stablished number of sesions, while at the same time providing enough guidance into how to play the game (for the new players) and room to explore the world. I like to make people laugh too, so I try to keep an ambient where people can laugh, try new things and explore, but at the same time keep the "in-world" things serious (we are probably going to laugh outside the game at some things going in the game, but those things and their consequenses are still going to be present). And I also improvise a fair amount where I need to. I think as a tl;dr, I like to make people laugh, keep an ambient open to try new things, offer guidance to new people to whatever in-game world we are currently playing in, and keep a structure that can provide me with a stablished time to play and tell my players how long the game will be so they know in advance how to manage their time in relation to the game.
