About me
Hi everyone! I have been playing D&D for around 5 years, the entire time as a Dungeon Master - nothing like jumping in at the deep end, right?! My initial foray into the game was running a campaign for a pair of friends who were completely new to the game. This same game grew and grew into a 4+ year campaign, ending up with a total of a 7 player party (even including one of the original founders!) I have learned a lot throughout that experience, and one of my favourite things was teaching new players how to play while we went along, and so I am keen to run some games primarily for new players once more! I have run both the Lost Mine of Phandelver and Dragon of Icespire Peak starter campaigns multiple times, and to begin with I'd like to offer my services as a paid GM to run new or inexperienced players through either of these adventures (though veterans are also welcome!)
GM Style
I prefer to run premade adventures, but often use these as a jumping off point for more customised campaigns. I like to have a mix of roleplay and combat during sessions to allow people to interact with the world, and also roll dice when it comes to it! I play with an inspiration system where players can reward each other with inspiration, once per session each, for good roleplay or a particularly clutch turn during combat!

Creativity
Mark was the DM for the first campaign I played in (Waterdeep: Dragon Heist). Was great at welcoming me into an existing group and helping me become comfortable with the rules as we played, especially building my confidence that I knew the rules for my character. He alloes for players to get creative without throwing the rulebook away completly. And whilst it was not fobbing this campaign, I know he is also able to encorporate his own homebrew storylines into existing modules for whenever the party wants to go a little off script. I would definitely recommend him for any new players looking for a GM/DM who can introduce them to the magic of TTRPG's.
Great for beginners. Mark has brought a lot of new players into the game of D&D (5e). If you put some story beats out there, Mark is very likely to pick up on those and weave them into your and everyone's shared story. Very experienced gamer, TV watcher, fantasy book reader. You are likely to pick up a few references from those types of media. Mark likes to share inspiration out between players and have players share it for things they like.
