I have played CoS a few times and even finished a game of it before, and I still can't explain how Viv has turn the story of the game on its head for me; its absolutely wonderful and so is she. Viv has given new life to an already beloved story, she has done amazing things that I can't help but love, being able to notice things from the module has become more and more rare for me as the game has gone on and I have loved every moment of it; if you love CoS, you have to grab a seat at her table when the chance presents itself, you won't regret it...

I have been wanting to play CoS for 10 years with a specific character and I have had trouble finding a table to play her. Viv gave this character a home and a safe place for me to explore themes that are close and dear to my heart. Viv cultivates a safe table where I feel I can unmask as a neurodivergent player with complex character wants and development. She listens. She takes into consideration what I have to say and creates a world in which my PC fits. She runs CoS with such skill that I am truly in awe of her as a DM. She is kind, approachable, and always willing to listen to learn about me as a human, as a player, and a character. She is a good people. You will enjoy her if you are someone who feels like you often don't fit into tables when you have a character that is perhaps a bit more deep than typical? And if you are looking to play CoS she is by far the best DM I have ever met to play this game with -- I have tried two other tables to play this campaign, and she is the one that won my heart and my brain. Give her a try. I don't think you will regret it.

Vivian is one of the best DMs I’ve worked with. She’s equally engaging, patient and willing to meet you at your level, while encouraging you to try things without pressuring you. She is a fantastic world builder and wants you to succeed, but isn’t afraid to show you its depths and dangers. Genuinely a really kind and creative person, she does her best to make sure everyone is involved and no one is left out. I’m an inconsistent player and Vivian is so patient with me as I try to navigate my way through combat and my skills and abilities, helpful when I’m struggling but not pushy. 10/10 would recommend.

An awesome DM that really tells a story and paints the picture for you. Very descriptive and expresses the emotion of the scene very well. I highly advise anyone looking for an introduction in to ttrpg's don't look any further. Vivian G. is a DM extraordinaire.

I don’t even know where to begin. How do I put into words the kind of lovely emotional torment this DM puts me through? I think the best way I can describe it is that this is the kind of DM that I envisioned when I was just a little D&D baby in high school in their first group. You go through a couple Dungeon Masters over the years, some good some bad, and then you find the one that clicks and it’s like you’re home. The roleplay just comes naturally, you slip into the character like they’re a favorite pair of shoes and then without even noticing the time passing it’s the end of the session and you’re going absolutely feral the entire week until next session. There will be suspense. There will be intrigue. There will be emotional damage. Your heart is but a ball of yarn and the DM is a feral gremlin of a cat tearing it into pieces. The worldbuilding is amazing, the NPCs feel so alive and you WILL get attached and the roleplay just flows naturally that if anyone reading this has anxiety with getting into character you’ll wonder why you were ever worried in the first place. To whoever is reading this review if you have any doubts by the end of this, I implore you to just do it. This is the kind of DM that you’ll think back fondly on and you’ll cherish the characters you make and the experiences created. If I could put all of the tags I would and I DO seriously mean that.

Vivian’s skill as a Game Master is truly impressive, whether it is a pre-made campaign module with a unique flair or a wholly original setting straight from her mind. Her ability to draw players into a world and get them to bond with even the tiniest and most innocuous of its elements leads to the best kinds of memorable moments, from running gags to dramatic character arcs that will stick with players years down the road.
