About me

Hi there! I'm Brodie, and I've been an avid TTRPG player for over 12 years, most of that time spent behind the DM screen! In my games, I strive to make my players feel connected to whatever world they may be in, to make sure their choices matter, their agency is respected, and above all, that they feel safe, comfortable, and have fun! I always do my best to tailor my games for my players- session zero is the most important session, and I'll take the time to speak with everyone at the table about what themes, concepts, and stories they would or would not like to see explored in game. I love all kinds of different settings and systems, from gothic horror to classic high fantasy, to space westerns, and almost anything in between! It's one of my greatest joys to bring characters and worlds to life for my players, and I hope to be able to do just that for you, too!

GM Style

Roleplay and acting focused games with doses of fast-paced, fluid, story focused combat are my forte. I'll definitely make use of the 'rule of cool', and tend to give bonuses for story-motivated choices, but always make sure to use the rules to keep things in balance.
