About me
I've been playing D&D 5e for 2 years now, but my love for D&D goes back to when I was a teenager in 2000 playing Baldur's Gate on PC. I love the world, I love fantasy adventures, and I love character development that goes through the crucible of choice. I enjoyed it so much that I started writing adventures! I also found out that my worldbuilding / writing style is one that really enjoys researching and symbolism. These manifest in the forms of lore, interacting with the metaphysics of the world, and maybe learning something new about the world of D&D after playing in one of my games.
GM Style
The way I run games centers on exploration, roleplay, and narration. I typically set the scene, flesh out the NPC's, and give the players full agency on how to proceed - going off-script if need be! I enjoy immersing players in the story, putting them in situations where choices have consequences, and seeing them reap the rewards of appropriately challenging encounters (including combat ones). If you enjoy this kind of game, then I think you'll have a good time at my table!

Brian is a perfect DM. Firstly, he's oriented toward fun and brings great energy. Secondly, he collaborates with each player to allow them to find their fun. He's also very knowledgeable about the rules, while also being humble where many DMs are prideful. He keeps the game moving at a nice pace. He is very creative when it comes to adventures as well, with lots of flavor and excitement.
