About Rosie Garcia
I started playing D&D back in high school, but it took me years to realize how freeing the game can be in a friendly, inclusive space. My table is beginner-friendly and fair--rules are important, but if a rule is making the game less fun it should be changed! Rewarding creativity in players is a big part of my DM style, and I adapt the balance of roleplay and combat to suit the party's interests. Everyone deserves a chance to tell their stories, especially those who aren't always heard in the nerd community, so people of all backgrounds are always welcome with me.

How Rosie Garcia runs games
I'm very adaptable based on the theme and players. As a player, I adore combat, so running high-energy and challenging encounters is great, but some of my favorite DM moments have been fostering genuine connections and heartfelt roleplay moments for my players. I tend to create more realistic or serious games, though my players often add in comedy through their choices. I usually follow "rule of cool" in games, but be warned that crazy ideas can lead to crazy outcomes!
