About me

Queer Acadian guy who loves running and playing a variety of TTRPG's! My education background is in biology, but I've always loved storytelling, improv, theatre, and gaming. I've had many years of struggling with my mental health, and TTRPG's has really helped me cope and find some joy in life, and I like bringing that joy to others!

GM style

Story-wise, I'm inspired by literature, anime, video games, my own fever dreams, and much more. I like games that are mix of whimsical, surreal, silly, chilling, epic, and heart-wrenching. I also like running games that are very character-driven. I know that might all seem like a lot, but trust me, I actually do a pretty good job with it! I strive to be inclusive of various ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender identities when creating the setting. Play-wise, I like a good balance of combat, puzzles, and explorations, with the main focus being on the roleplaying. I'm very animated and will be making voices for all the characters, and I encourage you to do the same! (If that's not your preferred way of playing your characters or you're uncomfortable with it, then no worries, you do you!) As a Game Master, I'm generally very fair and am okay with being challenged on any rule or arbitration, although I do still have final say. I like to encourage players to get creative and think outside the box. I generally discourage meta-gaming, though I do let the little things slide. Lastly, consent is very important to me. Depending on the game, I may ask players to give me a list of soft and hard limits to make sure I don't add anything to the story that might be triggering. I want everyone that plays to have fun and feel safe!
