About me
My games are about three things: immersive roleplay, player choice, and creative problem solving. Immersive roleplay: I create a world that feels real, where you can make choices that make sense for your character. (using a voice isn't required) Player choice: my games are set up to maximize player agency. It's up to you to balance the risk and reward of your character's actions. Creative problem solving: my games reward creativity over mechanical mastery. I will let you try pretty much anything that makes sense in the context of the world.
GM Style
I'm an improvisor, actor, and thinker. Quick to make calls at the table. When you're playing with me no one at the table, myself included, can stop to look up a rule. As long as no character dies, no harm, no foul. I expect a lot from my players. It's up to you to drive the game forward. If you wait for it to come to you, well, you'll be waiting a long time.

DM did a great job of setting the scene and allowing the players to control the session, but still gave very clear and open communication. Very impressed with this one-shot and would readily recommend anyone to this DM.

Jack was a great DM, he built the world and settings beautifully, his characters and their voices were engaging, and the scenarios invited fun and creativity. I definitely recommend him!

If you like Theater of the Mind......this is your guy. If you like a mental problem solving adventure.....this is you guy. At least he was for the oneshot I did. What i liked about the session was he let you do what you wanted to do no questions asked, but you better think long and hard about your move. There were just as many rewards for my actions as consequences. All in all is was good fun!

BJ is a great GM. His story telling skills immerse you in the setting and adventure. The game was high on role-play and low on combat, which was great for a new player like me. It was a lot of fun!
