I've been a big fan of unique dark fantasy worlds and the noir genre for many years before picking up D&D - my first TTRPG - and haven't looked back since! Currently working on developing my own system, and running homebrew D&D one-shots/campaigns with an emphasis on horror and mystery!

How BigThink runs games
My DMing style places a greater focus on role-playing and exploration, and you can expect a wide host of fleshed-out NPCs and lands with their own histories and stories. My worlds are open, and players are able to exercise a high degree of autonomy in how they approach encounters and plots. I aim to work closely with each and every player to ensure their characters are integrated and immersed into the universe, shaped by the world as much as they are able to change it through the course of their adventures and struggles. When combat does arise, it usually fast and harrowing - characters' lives are nearly always on the line, though that does not mean you cannot triumph with preparation, teamwork, and good allies.
