About me

Aye and welcome to my tavern bar weary traveller, I've been running and playing TTRPGs/wargames for a little over 20 years. It all started with my 7th grade history teacher bringing in a handpainted historical reenactment battle after school. We pulled all the desks together to the center of the classroom and covered them with regiments, scenery and dice.. I was hooked. That experience led me to Warhammer 40k and Fantasy. I painted up armies and built a table full of terrain and my home became the place to go for wargamming, my peers often coming to play nearly every day of the week. Later on my uncle introduced me to first edition D&D with a quick one shot, I immediately went to my local book store and purchased the D&D 3e books which led to a wonderful campaign that lasted through my highschool years. After a hiatus from gaming in general I picked up 5th edition and ran a multitude of games, this in the part of my life where I began playing with VTTs, namely Tabletop Simulator. I would create unlocked public pick-up games which led to tons of fun times with people from all over the world. We had a discord group at the time and many people would listen in on the sessions as the seats were always packed full. I later found Foundry VTT and have been becoming highly proficient with it over the last 3 years running numerous games. Of these 20+ years I've effectively been a Forever DM and am profoundly grateful for finding the hobby as it has taught me a ton about myself and others, has acted as a form of therapy and creative outlet, and has led to countless adventures with old and new friends. Beyond TTRPG and fantasy, my other hobbies and interests include hiking, snowboarding, skateboarding, electronic music production, poker, crypto, philosophy, art, reading and writing. I look forward to rolling some dice with you soon! -Leon

GM Style

Weird and wonky and fun. I enjoy roleplay and combat equally leaning towards a balanced mix of the two, all the while prioritizing my player's implied desires. My number one rule is if a person in the group is not having fun, then I am failing to do my job.
