About me

Hi my name is Jon! After learning Dungeon & Dragons from a buddy in college, I was enthralled. Cut to 2020, my hands are full of dice and I have 20 pages of history for an imaginary world I'm building. I truly love running games and seeing the creativity that interactive storytelling brings! In the past 2 years, I have been running full-arc campaigns, one-shots, as well as 1-on-1 sessions. In many of these cases, I have introduced DnD 5e to new players as well as experienced players. I specialize in creating custom games! Currently, I have created my own homebrew world (Prime), which is the primary setting for many of the future campaigns, however I have made one-shots and campaigns based on other settings and genres.

GM style

My GM style focuses on creating living and breathing worlds that you would want to explore. I believe in infinitude bound by justification. The world should feel intimate and so most games I create will be catered to you. Therefore the amount of role-playing, problem-solving, or tactical combat you would like will be entirely up to you. Congruently, communication is very important to me. With this in mind, I do require some form of "session zero" to make sure we are on the same page, and that I'm able to deliver on the experience you want. I am a big fan of Brennan Lee Mulligan (GM of Dimension 20), and draw A LOT of inspiration from his style.
