About me

Hey! My name is Ant (he/him) and thank you for finding me! Have you always wanted to play TTRPGs but have no idea how to start? Look no more, you found it! Welcome to your table! Here are some quick facts: -I write poetry and horror/sci-fi fiction -I was a radio dj in Upstate New York a few lifetimes ago -I love loud music, horror movies, spicy foods, strange smells, and odd noises -I got into TTRPGs around 3e because I saw the monster manual at the bookstore and thought it was the coolest thing in the world. It was an ancient-looking tome with a giant eyeball, who could resist? -My current favorite games to play are D&D 5e, MÖRK BORG, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Mario Kart 8, Balatro, Magic The Gathering, Pass the Pigs, Clue, Uno, and Candyland -I LOVE playing games with new players so you don't need to have a single bit of experience to join my tables. This seat is yours! What to expect! -RESPECT! 🏳️‍🌈♾️ My tables are and always will be LGBTQIA+ friendly -Safety! We have safety tools in play at all times to ensure everyone is having a great experience -AI-Free! I use absolutely no AI on my end of the table and I encourage you to do the same. You can take comfort that all of our adventures come from a true, living, breathing, weird human -A virtual tabletop! I use Foundry VTT to aid us on our journey. I love using theater of the mind but sometime you just gotta throw in a killer map -Background music! Optional background music provided by tabletopaudio.com -A Discord Server! -Silly voices! Ready to go? Sign up and let's get started together! Be prepared for a brief 10 minute onboarding interview at least 24 hours before game time. After that, the dice decide our fate!

GM Style

My Play Style! -Every table is unique and every player brings something different to the table. I LOVE the collaborative storytelling aspect of TTRPGs and the community that it creates through play. With that said, my tables are roleplay-heavy and I use the rules a majority of the time but we will absolutely break them if we want to attempt the amazing. I view the rules more as tools and guidelines. I want to laugh and roll dice and fight monsters and explore crypts with you, and not give you math homework. Sometimes TTRPGs can veer into the "chore" realm and I very much aim to avoid that.
