I like to have an intriguing and compelling story for my players to get involved in. I want to be able to place clues in front of them and then hand them the reins as they work through problems, find creative solutions, and have fun while doing it! If my players decide that summoning Tiamat is the solution to all their problems, then well, roll initiative!
