About me
Hello there! I'm Sergio (Said-E-Oh) or Alucard, 19, a GM from the newer generations raised on the GMing of classic TTRPGs. I've been playing and reading about TTRPGs since I was 12 and have been GMing almost just as long. I'm an avid homebrewer, whether for homebrew settings based around political intrigue or just crafting new races, classes, subclasses, or spells for my players. I love playing systems as they are if that's what players prefer, but I don't see anything wrong with ripping out the page of a rulebook and replacing it with my own if it benefits my players' experience. Crafting worlds and people to fill them is insanely fun, but what's more, fun is seeing other people run around in them and cause some trouble. To make money is almost secondary to being able to justify putting more time into this hobby and having fun with other people who want to craft a fantastic story. I'm happy to have Neurodivergent or LGBTQ+ players in my game, there is no discrimination to be had or tolerated here, the only problem I'm going to have with a person is if they make my other players uncomfortable.
GM Style
My GM Style is pretty heavy on RP and Exploration, but I really enjoy giving my players a challenging boss fight. You can expect NPCs you meet to all have different and dynamic personalities or voices, just to make every NPC feel that much more real. Homebrew is commonplace in my campaigns for monsters and players, but a personal rule of mine is that a monster can't do anything a player couldn't eventually learn to do. Combat is made to be challenging, but I prefer doing this through new and nuanced mechanics over boring things like number bloat or artificially upping a number to make it scary. I love hearing the feedback from my players on these mechanics and would be more than willing to increase or decrease the frequency of these mechanics depending on how my players feel about them. Player Characters are always at the forefront of my mind in any campaign, meaning that you being happy and satisfied with your story is what matters most to me. You can expect to get a lot of customized homebrew items and be offered a plethora of homebrew subclasses or races to fit a character concept.
