About me
Hi! My name is Allie (She/Her) and I’ve been playing and running TTRPGs in various systems for about 20 years now. My storytelling background comes primarily from the horror genre. My worlds tend to be dark and tense, with plenty of room for roleplay and character expression. I run an inclusive and safe table. My players come to me for games that challenge them to confront their characters’ flaws in interesting and sometimes emotionally intense ways. I hope to see you at my table!
GM Style
My games tend to be roleplay heavy and intense. That intensity is (and must) always be balanced by a fair bit of comedy and laughter. I’ve run very silly campaigns and very serious ones and have found that the commonality is that you need to balance the main theme (e.g. Comedy) with a counterpoint (e.g. Drama/Horror). I also enjoy running combat on a map, I like to see what we’re all doing and place us all in physical space together. I use theater of the mind for smaller or unplanned encounters but will tend to have some back-library of possibilities we can get into on VTT. You’ll enjoy my games if you’re coming to TTRPG from watching streams or actual play shows, where story and performance are frequently highlighted. If you’re looking for a crunchier more wargame-like tactical challenge, my games might not be for you. My table is always first and foremost a space that is safe for people of all backgrounds, and I maintain a zero tolerance policy for bigotry of any sort. Before you join any table of mine you will get a full brief on safety tools from me where you can also ask clarifying questions and affirm your consent to those rules.

My best DnD experience this far. Allie starts by creating a safe and relaxing atmosphere around the game, holding space for everyone to communicate their needs and keep the game a fun experience for all of us. And it has been so much fun! There is plenty of room for laughs, but she is also able to masterfully shift the mood when it serves the story, turning her own presence into something quite threatening or terrifying, or creating a powerful heartbreaking scene that left me in awe. She involved everyone's character in her story in a really fun way, exploring parts of their backstories while adding a lot of mystery to it, and I personally am really excited to find out where the story is going to take us!
Allie is an incredible DM. She is very inclusive, both inside the DnD universe and in real life. She makes you feel safe while playing, which opens the door to more roleplaying. Despite the chaos that was on the table sometimes, she kept balance to roleplaying and the pacing of the story. Above that, the npc's felt real to me. She also allowed some things that are not exactly in the rule book, but felt really logical in the game, which I think is really nice. She is also open to character ideas that are a bit homebrew, so you can costumize yours (while also thinking about balance and without overpowering). To conclude: Allie is awesome. ( :
I have played with Allie as a DM twice now and I hope I will get to come back to her stories. In the beginning of the game Allie always asks if there are any themes that are off limits for the players or themes that they would like to be addressed with caution. She makes sure that the game is gripping and engaging, without overstepping personal boundaries. She is great at painting the scene with her descriptions and setting the mood with music. She lets the players explore their characters and get the time to role play without loosing track of the story.
We played with a group where most of us had never met before, and some people had never played D&D before, but we had a great time because Allie knew exactly how to include everyone in the game in a way that worked best for each of us. She's great at improvising; for example, when the party split up at one point, she kept switching flawlessly between groups, despite large thematic differences in what each group was doing. She was also very accommodating in how we wanted to approach the problems in the game, which led to unexpected and hilarious moments.
First start with that she is a amazing DM, session with he where a lot of fun really creative and really good worked out, while being serious and at the same time have enough laughter that makes it so much fun and makes it also fun to keep your mind in the game. And indeed the roleplay she is really good with what makes the story so Interesting and so going into depth it's just a wonderfull experience. Thank you for the amazing game hope to play more with you!
